Practical reasons why we formed "Bridge the Gap Coalition"

1. Strength in numbers. It almost speaks for itself. More people working together means more voices, more helping hands, more influence.

2. Solidarity. People often take notice when groups with very different purposes come together for a single cause.

Bring together the resources of many different organizations to solve a single problem.  Family

support programs operate successfully in diverse communities and settings. Some are separate, freestanding nonprofit agencies; others are part of a larger organization and are sponsored by churches, hospitals, schools, day-care centers, state agencies, or colleges and universities.

Program Success Monitored By

The general monitoring implementation is from three points of view:

Use of resources

Target of the activities

Quality of the activities

We fully realize the project require a larger amount of time to determine the effects on the community as a whole.

Finally, many projects, for funding or other reasons, last for one, maybe two years. In either case, it would not be realistic to expect such projects to make a difference in terms of programs aimed to help families, and it would be unfair to assess them by this factor alone.
