The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) provides community outreach services for Medi-Cal and CalFresh by deploying DPSS Eligibility Workers throughout Los Angeles County at sites such as hospitals, clinics, schools and community agencies.  In addition, DPSS has partnered with sister Departments, such as Department of Children Family Services, Probation, Sheriff's Department, Health Services, Public Health and Mental Health to link mutual consumers with Medi-Cal and CalFresh services. 
DPSS Eligibility workers also provide on-site Medi-Cal and CalFresh assessments to consumers in local neighborhoods and communities.
