Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is a process that identifies specific target behavior, the purpose of the behavior, and what factors maintain the behavior that is interfering with the student's educational progress. A functional assessment is an approach to figuring out why your child acts a certain way. It uses a variety of techniques to understand what’s behind inappropriate behaviors. This includes looking at non-academic factors that might be contributing to your child’s frustration with learning.

• Youth-Family Reconciliation:

Awareness of reconciliation is a step by step process to assist families and young people in conflict, to identify issues, examine options and resolve disagreements through mediation.

Provides crisis intervention services for families with youth who have run away or who are in serious conflict with parents. 

Family Reconciliation Services are intended to preserve, strengthen and reconcile families. 

Services may include

Short-term family counseling

Short-term placement of the youth out of the home

Referrals for substance abuse treatment and/or counseling

 • Youth Impact and Street Ministries

 Volunteers can make a real impact in the lives of people who have rarely been accepted or loved. More than half were in foster care in US city. Thirty percent are girls. Some travel from city to city frequently, often by freight trains, and others are more local. They are often invisible and unwanted and, as a result, very mobile. They generally prefer to be called street youth rather than homeless. Our word for them is street-dependent since they depend on the street for food, clothing, shelter, self-care, friends, and support. When they first come to the street, the street is often the best place they have ever experienced. Their needs are quite different than a typical older homeless person.

But Christ has bought us out from under the doom of that impossible system by taking the curse for our wrongdoing upon himself. For it is written in the Scripture, “Anyone who is hanged on a tree is cursed” (as Jesus was hung upon a wooden cross).  Now God can bless the Gentiles, too, with this same blessing he promised to Abraham; and all of us as Christians can have the promised Holy Spirit through this faith.
